When Mai first published under May Sage in 2015, she only intended to share her fun stories, but shockingly, people actually read those, so her dream of becoming a full-time author became a reality.
Mai moved away from short, simple novellas to jump into more complex plots and characters and worlds a few years later.
As her bibliography contains too many books of various tones, lengths, and skill levels, she launched two different pens in 2021: Alexi Blake, for new fantasy work, and Emm Darcy, under which she explores steamier, darker stories.
